20 months after my return to the States I resumed my status as an “international DJ”. This time the location was Lyon, France. The stage was set for the grand opening of Le Zebre, a wine bar. The DJs were I, DJ Come of Age (DJ Consortium partner) and partner K-Pharaoh who visited from the UK. The most special moments of this trip occurred from day one! The people were friendly, the food was good and most amazingly, we played more sets than were originally planned. The initial plan was for us to play 3-4 consecutive nights at Le Zebre; however, with unscheduled performances at a record store, University Radio and 3 more clubs, I played an unprecedented 10 sets in a 6-consecutive-night period. I virtually played from the moment I arrived in town until the moment I left town! The most gratifying note was that we were invited to come back soon, perhaps for the New Year...
